Tom Hiddleston is back with Loki season 2, Marvel Studios also announces Alaqua Cox starrer Echo

Tom Hiddleston is back with his most loved character and the second season of Marvel Studious' highly anticipated series Loki. Makers dropped the latest announcement on Marvel Entertainment's official social media page.

Not only Loki season 2, but Marvel Entertainment also announced its new series called Echo on the official Instagram handle.

The post reads, "Marvel Studios @DisneyPlus A new season of #Loki starts streaming October 6, 2023. All episodes of #Echo drop November 29, 2023 (sic)."

The first season of Loki ended on a major cliffhanger which saw the two Lokis from two different universes get trapped together on a planet set to destroy within hours. 

Fans have been highly anticipating the Michael Waldron-created show, which also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Sasha Lane, Jack Veal, DeObia Oparei, Richard E. Grant and Jonathan Majors.

Meanwhile, Echo, which is a spinoff series of Hawkye is set to star Alaqua Cox in the titular role. She was first seen in the Jeremy Renner show in 2021. Created by Marion Dayre, the upcoming MCU series also stars Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Graham Greene, Zahn McClarnon, Vincent D'Onofrio and Charlie Cox.

Stream Loki season 2 episodically from October 16, and all episodes of Echo on November 29 on Disney+ Hotstar.
