'Toh rishta pakka?': #ShaRa fans overjoyed as Shamita Shetty meets Raqesh Bapat's family

While rumour mills have been busy churning that popular Bigg Boss OTT couple Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat have called it quits, their fans desperately hoped for the rumours to be false. Raqesh Bapat's recent interview with a leading publication where he denied being in a relationship with Shamita Shetty and called her a "dear friend", further gave fire to the rumours of troubles in their paradise. 

However, looks like all is well after all with netizens favourite couple #ShaRa (the moniker given to Shamita and Raqesh by their fans). Amidst multiple reports of their alleged break up, Raqesh's sister Sheetal's post on Instagram came as a sigh of relief for all the fans of the couple. It's evident from the pictures that Shamita had gone to Pune to visit Raqesh and spend some quality time with his family. 

In the pictures shared by Sheetal, Shamita can be seen posing with Raqesh and his niece Isha Bapat. In another picture Shamita and Raqesh can be seen hugging Isha along with her dog. While the comments section are filled with reactions from relieved fans who are mostly overjoyed to see Shamita and Raqesh together, one of the fans even asked if it is finally official now saying, "Toh rishta pakka?"

For those who are uninitiated, Raqesh and Shamita first met on the sets of the Karan Johar hosted OTT reality show Bigg Boss OTT and apparently fell in love. The duo was next seen together in the Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 15 for a brief period of time, before Raqesh had to opt out mid-way owing to his health condition.

However, he continued to cheer for Shamita from outside the BB15 house and remained his constant source of support. Post the show, the duo was often spotted hanging out together in Mumbai, painting the own red. 

It was only recently that reports hinting at their possible break up started doing the rounds and Raqesh's recent interview with the Hindustan Times made matters worse. He mentioned in the interview that both of them were in a happy zone and that he wouldn't name it a relationship, but a bond. He did maintain that Shamita is a pure soul and he respects her a lot.
