Has the title of Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk’s next ‘inspired’ by THIS Shah Rukh Khan film?

Besides being a romantic hero for many decades now, Shah Rukh Khan also has, to his credit, been an integral part of many superhit tracks in Bollywood. One such track is from the film ‘Duplicate’, which was titled as ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’. This song, incidentally, will be forming the title of the film which stars Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk in the lead roles, as per a report in Pinkvilla.

The film, which is touted to be a romantic comedy, is being directed by Anand Tiwari and is being produced by Karan Johar. The film, which was initially called ‘Raula’, is now being titled as ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’, which happens to be the famous song from ‘Duplicate’, and the song featured Shah Rukh Khan alongwith Juhi Chawla and Sonali Bendre. The news report stated that, the new title ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ had a meaning to the subject, which one would know when the makers begin to roll out the promotional assets.

The film, which is expected to release in theatres on August 25 this year, is right now in the post-production stages and the editing of the film is expected to happen soon, as per the report.

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal has yet another film that’s up for release. The film is the Laxman Uttekar directed ‘Lukka Chuppi 2’, which is presently a tentative title to the film. Besides Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars the spunky Sara Ali Khan. The film will see the first-time pairing of Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. While the film’s trailer launch is scheduled to take place on May 15 in Mumbai, the film is being planned to have a theatrical release on June 2 this year.
