DJ Tillu is one of the biggest hits in 2022 and was by all means a surprise success. Directed by Vimal Krishna, the film, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, Neha Sshetty, was a complete laugh riot in theatres and ensured immense profits to its makers - Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The makers are now returning with the sequel to the crime comedy titled Tillu Square. Siddu continues to headline the franchise while Anupama Parameswaran is cast as the female lead.

Mallik Ram, the director of films like Adbhutam, Naruda Donaruda, is wielding the megaphone for Tillu Square. Srikara Studios is presenting the film. Like its prequel, it has two composers - Sricharan Pakala and Ram Miriyala. The film is gearing up for a release on September 15, for Vinayaka Chavithi, where it'll lock horns with Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela starrer Skanda. Meanwhile, the first single from Tillu Square, Ticket Eh Konakunda, was launched today.

The quirky promo leading to the song launch has enusred enough excitement around the single. Ram Miriyala has composed and sung the number written by Kasarla Shyam. The track is filmed on the lead pair Siddu and Anupama and choreographed by Jani master. 'Ticket Eh Konakunda..Lottery Kottina Sinnoda..Sitti Needi Sinuguthundemo Sudara Bulloda..Musukoni Kusokunda,' the song takes off, describing the world of the protagonist and his colourful love life.

The lyrics precisely hint that he's making the same mistake of falling for a girl again and hasn't learnt from his past. His equation with his friends and father hasn't changed either. Siddu is successful in wooing Anupama and making her fall for film and their mischevous chemistry makes for a good watch. Ram Miriyala's energetic rendition and Kasarla Shyam's witty lyrics merit multiple hearings.

Sai Prakash Ummadisingu has cranked the camera for the same while Navin Nooli is the editor. AS Prakash is the art director. Aditya Music has acquired the audio rights and leading streamer Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights. More details about the cast are awaited.
