Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s most-anticipated film Tillu Square has been a long-awaited release. The film is the sequel of the successful DJ Tillu. Now, streaming giant Netflix has announced that the sequel, which is yet to have its theatrical release, will be releasing on the streaming platform post its theatrical run.
The streaming platform announced that the film will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.
Netflix also released a new still from the film which has caught the attention of many fans who have been awaiting the release of the film. Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda can be seen in a peppy avatar, with many women in the background, and this still appears to be from a dance video. The young actor, in a silk white shirt and veshti, appears to be dancing in a song.
Tillu Square release date updates
It was initially announced that The Mallik Ram directorial would be released in March 2023. Later, the makers of the film announced the postponement of the movie to July 2023, which was again changed. As per the latest update, Tillu Square will be out on February 9.
The hype around the film had already heightened after the steamy posters of Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran were unveiled earlier. The romantic poster from the film generated a lot of buzz on social media. The film is bankrolled by Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Ram Miriyala and Sri Charan Pakala are composing music for the film and National Award-Winning editor Navin Nooli is editing the movie. Neha Shetty played the female lead in the first part, and she did a fab job. A small promo, also released by the makers, won the hearts of many. We need to see if the sequel will live up to all the hype created or not.
