Tiger Shroff claims the failure of Heropanti 2 left him distraught: I was heartbroken, I was depressed

Tiger Shroff has starred in several blockbusters. Meanwhile, as he admitted during his latest appearance on Koffee With Karan, his most recent film, Heropanti 2, received negative reviews from critics as well as spectators, leaving him feeling pretty devastated. Tiger also said that he is an ’emotional eater.’ Tiger has produced several successful films over the years, such as the Baaghi series and Student Of The Year 2, so his latest box office disappointment was really painful for him.

In the episode, the host Karan questioned about the recent failure without mentioning the movie and said that Tiger was really disappointed when he first saw him. Tiger continued, “I was heartbroken. I was depressed. I’m just a very extreme person, I wouldn’t say I sacrificed a lot because I like what I do, and I don’t have a social life and too many friends…” Karan then added, “You did a lot of failure eating.” Tiger acknowledged and went on, “I’m an emotional eater.”

When Kriti heard this, she expressed astonishment and claimed it didn't appear when they were filming Ganapath and he does a great job of "masking it." Tiger also mentioned that his box office success throughout the interview serves as his source of satisfaction.

As Karan questioned if Tiger is motivated to show a statement with a box office figure, Tiger responded, “I’m even hungrier right now. I’m not the type to get adulation–like great work, look at how well he has done. For me, my validation is the box office. I live for those whistles and all when I land, and I am about to save the day.” While Karan praised Kartik Aaryan's achievement with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Tiger stated he was motivated but just not jealous.

On the work front, Tiger has a project in the works with Kriti Sanon called Ganapath. Tiger and Kriti appear in Koffee With Karan Season 7 Episode 9, which is only currently accessible on Disney+ Hotstar. The programme can be streamed on Hulu in the United States.
