Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria’s Heropanti 2 to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on THIS date

After an abysmal performance at the box office, Heropanti 2 is readying to hit the small screen soon. The Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui actioner will have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video this weekend.

The streamer made the announcement today with a hilarious video where both Tiger and Tara are parodying Babloo’s dialogue “Chhoti bachi ho kya” from the original Heropanti.

Heropanti 2 is written by Rajat Arora who has to his credit films like The Dirty Picture and Badshaho with director-choreographer Ahmed Khan at the helm. 

The story follows Tiger’s Babloo, a techie, and Tara’s Inaaya who is a self-made billionaire. Unforeseen circumstances make them fall in love but also make them suddenly grow apart. Nawazuddin is seen as the antagonist Laila.

The standalone sequel did not fare well at the box office, only minting Rs 35.13 crore worldwide. The movie was also criticised for its lack of plot and not delivering as a commercial entertainer.

“Heropanti 2 is a movie that works on cringe-worthy and unrealistic action scenes. In the times when content is the king Heropanti 2 is a sheer disappointment,” reads the review on OTTplay.  

However, both leading stars are delighted that the movie will be available for a global audience on Amazon Prime Video.

Filled with a lot of action, romance and twists and turns, the audience will enjoy it. Heropanti 2 will be out on the platform on May 27.
