Vamsee's Tiger Nageswara Rao is all set to arrive in cinemas as a bona fide pan-Indian film on October 19. With Ravi Teja seemingly in form as the titular character and an ensemble cast, featuring Nupur Sanon, Jisshu Sengupta, Anupam Kher, Murali Krishna and others, aiding him in the cause, the anticipation for the film is incredibly high at the moment and understandably so.

Tiger Nageswara Rao, of course, borrows its central idea from the real-life events of 'Stuartpuram' Nageswara Rao. Director Vamsee has repeatedly cited the life of the famed dacoit as his main source of inspiration, revealing that he also intends to shed light on the nobler and lesser-known side of his life. Evidently, there's creative license sought by the makers who have glorified the events and even fictionalized certain moments, in a definitive attempt to paint a glorious picture. And in this pursuit, we now hear that the runtime of Tiger Nageswara Rao is a little over 3 hours!

Yes, according to the latest updates on social media, the Ravi Teja film has been certified 'U/A' by the CBFC and additionally, the film will boast a runtime of 3 hours, 1 minute and 39 seconds. Does that mean we have an epic on the cards? Well, netizens already have their say and their reactions, as always, are quite fascinating.

On the one hand, many reckon that the long runtime will need to be justified by the director with a tight screenplay and even finer execution, meaning that it has to have enough "content" or depth. The runtime, no doubt, has caused a few apprehensions among the audiences but at the same time, a good share of them feel that if all the necessary ingredients are in place, the 3-hour length might feel like a breeze. Regardless, all concerns will be answered on October 19 when the film hits the big screens.

In the meantime, one finds Ravi Teja and co. extensively busy with promotions and the team is leaving no stone unturned in spreading the word. Ravi Teja was recently spotted shaking a leg with Shilpa Shetty on the reality show India's Got Talent and has also been interacting with media outlets from across the country.
