Tiger Nageswara Rao: Teaser launch date of Ravi Teja’s pan Indian film confirmed

Ravi Teja, who had multiple releases this year - the successful Waltair Veerayya, the under-performer Ravanasura, will be seen in his first pan-Indian film this Dussehra. He’ll play the titular role in the biopic of the notorious thief from Stuartpuram, Tiger Nageswara Rao. The film is written and directed by Vamsee and produced by Abhishek Agarwal under Abhishek Agarwal Arts.

Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bhardwaj play the female leads in the action entertainer. The film has a stellar supporting cast comprising Anupam Kher, Renu Desai, Jisshu Sengupta. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for the film slated for a release on October 20, locking horns with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s high-voltage actioner Bhagavanth Kesari, directed by Anil Ravipudi.

Ahead of its release, the makers are all set to commence the promotional campaign with the teaser launch. The production house confirmed the launch date today - August 17, Thursday. “Get ready to witness @RaviTeja_offl and his histrionics as #TigerNageswaraRao from next week. TIGER'S INVASION ON AUGUST 17th,” the banner tweeted.

Signalling the arrival of Tiger Nageswara Rao, the teaser poster features Ravi Teja’s foot and shows he’s ready for the big stage. Srikanth Vissa writes the dialogues for the film which has a top-notch crew. R Madhie is the cinematographer for the project while Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Tej Narayan Agarwal is the presenter and Mayank Singhaniya is the co-producer.

Amazon Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the big-budget extravaganza. Leading music label Saregama has acquired the audio rights. The banner Abhishek Agarwal Arts has produced some of the biggest pan-Indian films in recent times - Kartikeya 2, The Kashmir Files and their another major production - The Vaccine War - is slated for a release soon too.
