Ravi Teja-starrer Tiger Nageswara Rao's box office collection Day 3: Occupancy drops; details inside

Tiger Nageswara Rao was one of the biggest releases in recent times. The film is the biggest release in the career of Ravi Teja and was released on a mammoth 1100 screens in Telugu states. Directed by Vamsee, the film had Nupuru Sanon and Tejawanini playing the female leads. 

GV Prakash has composed the music for this film which is a period drama. Well, the film was released on October 20, 2023, with a mixed response. Though the makers did not reveal the actual collections of the film, the latest trade update is that the collections have really fallen down from the day of its release.

The latest news is that the film has made only Rs 15 crore net in the first three days of its release which is quite low. Tiger Nageswara Rao is made on a budget of Rs 50 crore and has to make a minimum of Rs 60 crore to be in the safe zone. But that looks unlikely as of now. 

The reviews for the film have been really mixed and one of the biggest drawbacks of the film has been the runtime which was close to three hours. But the makers edited the film by half an hour on the second day. But it looks like it did not make any difference.

The sad part is that a Tamil dubbed film like Leo is doing quite better than Tiger Nageswara Rao in many areas of Telugu states. As the other Dussehra release is doing quite well, the Ravi Teja starrer has slowed down drastically. 

Once the festival holidays are over on Wednesday, the collections will go down further. The makers have also not indulged in any post-release promotions of the film sadly. Watch this space for more.
