The trailer of Tiger 3 has been the talk of the town ever since it released on the internet. The trailer was loved by many but recently, people have also started comparing it to Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan trailer and claimed that it was better than the clip released from the franchise film. Tiger 3 marks the return of Hindi cinema’s much-loved couple, Tiger and Zoya, played by Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif respectively. The actors have now spoken about how they felt after seeing the audience response to the trailer.
Their reaction
Salman feels the response is simply outstanding. The actor finds himself fortunate to find love with every movie that releases. However, seeing the volume of love Tiger 3 has received, he feels it is truly special and a rare feeling.
Katrina, on the other hand, promises that Tiger 3 is an action spectacle. She believes that people will be blown away by what the film has to offer.
On coming back as Tiger and Zoya
Salman did add that he is aware about the kind of love he and Katrina receive for their characters, Tiger and Zoya. Thus, in a press statement, he was quoted saying, “I’m aware that these two super-agents hold a special place in the hearts of audience and I’m glad that we have lived upto their expectations with the Tiger 3 trailer. I think people will be very happy seeing both of us in action, taking on our enemies, shoulder to shoulder.”
Meanwhile, Katrina said, “Tiger and Zoya are two pieces of the same puzzle. They are charismatic and daredevil when they work together as a unit and I’m thrilled to see how people are excited to see these two spies back in action, saving the day.”
About Tiger 3
Tiger 3 is, like the name suggests, the third installment in the Tiger franchise. However, the Tiger franchise itself is a part of YRF Spy Universe. The universe includes Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War, apart from Salman-Katrina’s Tiger. Pathaan was the previous release this year and that paved the way for SRK’s cameo in Tiger 3. The scene is heavily guarded so far and thus, there are no certain details till the movie actually releases in theatres.
Tiger 3 is helmed by Maneesh Sharma. The previous installments, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, were directed by Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar respectively. Tiger 3 introduces Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist in the film and it is set to release on Diwali i.e. on November 12, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
