Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger 3 had a theatrical release on Diwali. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the film marked Tiger and Zoya's return to the big screen. The movie was off to a good start at the box office. Within 7 days of its theatrical run, Tiger entered the ₹200 crore club in India. On day 8, the film reportedly earned ₹10.25 crore, which is less as compared to its day 7 collection at the box office.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Tiger 3 witnessed a slight drop in its day 8 collection. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer minted ₹10.25 crore. Considering all eight days of Tiger 3's box office earnings, the film's collection now stands at ₹230.50 crore.
On the other hand, the YRF film has crossed the ₹350 crore (gross) at the worldwide box office. The action-thriller has performed exceedingly well overseas as well.

Tiger as a franchise
The Tiger franchise started in 2012 with Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger with Salman and Katrina in the lead roles. The second part was titled Tiger Zinda Hai. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the movie hit the big screen in 2017. And now, Tiger 3 is running successfully in cinemas. Interestingly, the YRF Spy universe began with the Tiger franchise.
On the work front for Salman
Before Tiger 3 was released, Salman was seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film was helmed by Farhad Samji. It had a theatrical release on Eid 2023. Khan shared screen space with Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari, and others. The movie didn;t work well at the box office.
Next, Salman will reportedly begin shooting for Tiger vs Pathaan in January 2024. The superstar will reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for the movie. They will reprise their characters of Tiger and Pathaan in the action-thriller. Khan also has Vishuvardhan's untitled movie lined up. It will be backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
