Salman Khan's Diwali release, Tiger 3 had a huge opening at the box office. Even though Diwali is typically thought of as a weak day for releasing a movie, the film was released on Sunday. There was a lot of chatter about the makers choosing the wrong day for the film's release but remarkably, the movie opened to a tremendous international opening day gross of Rs 94 crore, with the domestic market accounting for Rs 52.50 crore of the total Gross Box Office Collection (GBOC).
The movie maintained its pace and made an additional Rs. 59.25 crore on its second day in India. Even on the third day, the film is expected to maintain its grip. Industry tracker Sacnilk has released early estimates for Tiger 3's Day 3 box office collection, indicating that the film will have a solid collection even on the third day.
The estimated collection on the third day of the action film is approximately Rs 45 crore. Thus far, the movie's Hindi occupancy has reached 25.67%; morning shows have recorded 17.22% occupancy, while afternoon shows have achieved 34.11%.
