The much-awaited Thunivu trailer is here. And just as the speculations, the film indeed seems to be a heist thriller, where Ajith's character and his gang go, take down a bank and swindle the money. The actor seems to be playing a character with shades of grey, who loves money. We also get a glimpse of the police force, media and politicians going about their business, and trying to take down Ajith's character. The actor also doles out mass punch dialogues, like 'Don't try to act like a hero, that's my job'. These dialogues are sure to bring the house down in the theatres. There are many other whistle-worthy moments as well, where Ajith calls himself a sly man and not to act too smart with him.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the entire Tamil film industry and fans of Ajith seemed to be eagerly awaiting the trailer of the action entertainer Thunivu. Ever since the announcement about the release date of the trailer was made, fans have been sharing their excitement on their social media handles. The film's producer, Boney Kapoor, too, kept the momentum up when he shared a promo of the trailer. "Just five hours to go for the #ThunivuTrailer, the massive treat arrives this evening at 7PM! (sic)," he wrote earlier in the day.
The film, helmed by H Vinoth, has Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, GM Sundar, Veera, John Kokken, as part of the star cast. The character posters of the actors were dropped on December 30. However, the team refrained from sharing Ajith's character poster. Thunivu has music by Ghibran and the songs have already gone on to become chartbusters, which include Chilla Chilla, Kasethan Kadavulada and Gangsta.
