Thug Life update – Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam to shoot the film in THIS country?

Thug Life, the highly anticipated upcoming action film marks the second onscreen collaboration of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. The legendary actor and veteran filmmaker, who has previously worked together in the classic film Nayakan which hit the screens in 1987, are joining hands again after a long gap of 37 years. The announcement teaser of the movie, which was released last year, instantly won the internet. 

As reported earlier, Thug Life finally started rolling in Chennai last week, after a long pre-production schedule. Now, the sources close to the movie have dropped some exciting updates on Mani Ratnam’s plans for the first schedule, and Kamal Haasan’s looks in the film.

Mani Ratnam’s shoot plans for Thug Life

For the uninitiated, Mani Ratnam and his crew are currently busy with the shooting of their ambitious project in Chennai. Along with leading Kamal Haasan, Malayalam actor Joju George and popular actress Abhirami, who are playing pivotal roles in the film, are also a part of the Chennai schedule. The rest of the major star cast, including Dulquer Salmaan, Trisha Krishnan, and Jayam Ravi, will only join the project from its next schedule.

Meanwhile, the latest reports by Sun News suggest that Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, and the rest of the team will soon travel to Siberia, for the second schedule filming of the highly anticipated film. As per the updates, the team is planning to film some of the most important portions of the film in the country. Later, the cast and crew will return to Chennai for the third schedule.

Kamal Haasan’s multiples look

As per the latest updates, the legendary actor is set to sport multiple looks for Thug Life, which is majorly set in an early time period. Reportedly, Kamal Haasan is sporting a thick beard look for his portions in the first schedule. However, the senior actor will start the full-fledged shooting for his portions, only by the first week of February. More updates on the Vikram star’s other looks are expected to be out soon.
