As per the recent updates, Kamal Haasan has turned a lyricist yet again for the Mani Ratnam directorial. The exciting update was dropped by the leading man himself, with a recent video on social media.
Kamal Haasan pens a song for Thug Life
In a recently released video titled ‘Legacy of Love’, which features Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti Haasan, the legend dropped some major updates on Thug Life. Interestingly, the multi-faceted talent revealed that he has teamed up with AR Rahman for a song in the Mani Ratnam directorial. The legend, who has penned lyrics for many songs, has turned lyricist yet again for the highly anticipated project.
Kamal Haasan, who is seen having a conversation with Shruti Haasan in the ‘Legacy of Love’ video which features the Inimel Jamming Journey, revealed that the upcoming song was produced in less than two hours. The legend, who spoke about the Japanese literature work Ikigai, revealed that he believes in finding happiness in the things he does. Kamal Haasan added that that is the reason why he decided to pen lyrics for a song in Thug Life. According to the actor, the song was penned in less than an hour and was produced in a couple of hours.
Thug Life shoot is progressing in New Delhi
As per the recent updates, the third schedule of Thug Life, which marks the second collaboration of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, started rolling in New Delhi last week. Silambarasan, who has reportedly replaced the popular actor Dulquer Salmaan in the film, is now busy shooting for his portions.
