Thug Life digital rights sold: Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam film sets a new record

Kamal Haasan, the legendary actor, is joining hands with veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam for his upcoming project, Thug Life. The movie, which is touted to be a hyperlink action drama, is nearing the final stages of its shoot. If the recent updates are to be believed, the digital rights of Thug Life have been sold for a whopping price. As per the recent updates, the Kamal Haasan starrer directed by Mani Ratnam has now set a new record in the Tamil film industry, with its digital rights.

Thug Life digital rights are sold

According to recent updates, the highly anticipated action-drama film has emerged as the highest-grosser in terms of digital rights, in Tamil cinema. The digital rights of Thug Life have been sold to a leading network, for a whopping price of Rs. 149.7 crore. Notably, the rights of the Kamal Haasan starrer, which also stars Silambarasan TR in a pivotal role, were sold even much before the team wrapped up the filming of the project. More updates on the same are expected to be out soon.

Thug Life shoot nears completion

As per the recent updates, the filming of Thug Life is nearing its completion. The sources close to the project suggests that director Mani Ratnam and his team are planning to wrap up the entire filming process, soon. A major update on the same, is expected to be out soon. As per the recent updates, a major update on the upcoming Kamal Haasan starrer, most probably the Thug Life teaser, will be revealed in a couple of weeks.

Kamal Haasan appears as the protagonist in Thug Life, which reportedly stars Silambarasan in the role of his son. Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead in the film, which stars a stellar star cast including Ashok Selvan, Nasser, Delhi Ganesh, Abhirami, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and others in supporting roles. AR Rahman is composing the songs and original score for the project. Ravi K Chandran is the director of photography. A Sreekar Prasad handles the editing.
