Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the power couple in the Hindi film industry revealed today that they are expecting their first child together. On February 29, the couple made an announcement on Instagram where they shared a picture of icons of baby things and revealed that the due date is in September 2024. This news came as a sweet surprise for all the DeepVeer out there and everyone has been congratulating the couple for this big news. However, did you know? Ranveer Singh once revealed that he wanted a baby girl like Deepika.
"Jaisa ki aap log jante hai meri shaadi ho gai hai aur ab 2-3 saal mein bacche bhi honge. Bhaisaab, aapki bhabhi itni cute baby thi na. Main to roz uski baby photos dekhta hoon, kehta hoon ek aisi de de mujhe bus meri life set ho jaye," (As you all know that I am married and might become a father in 2-3 years. Your sister-in-law was such a cute baby. I wake up daily and see her baby pictures and say that even I want a baby girl like her and my life will be set), Ranveer Singh told The Big Picture.
Earlier, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, Deepika Padukone revealed that if she would not pursue her career in acting then she doesn't know what she must be doing. She further said, "But hopefully with some children around. Three little kids, scuttling about. Hopefully, be working enough to take them to shoots. Have a happy family. And at the same time, still doing what I am doing."
The star couple has always made news for their airport looks, cute and fun banter, and breathtaking pictures. The actors enjoy a massive fanbase which they earned with their outstanding performances in multiple films.
