After having bagged the ‘Miss India-World' crown years ago, a super-confident Priyanka Chopra Jonas went onto bag the supe r prestigious Miss World crown. After her stint as ‘Miss World’, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, as a gradual progression, entered Bollywood. But, after a few films in Bollywood as well as the south film industry, Priyanka Chopra Jonas suddenly announced her decision of getting married to Nick Jonas. Not just she announced her marriage with Nick, she also decided to settle abroad and travel back to India as and when required. While people did not find anything amiss about her decision of settling abroad till the time, a couple of weeks back Priyanka Chopra Jonas revealed the real reason for her decision.
The ‘Aitraaz’ actress, in a recent episode of Dax Shephard's podcast ‘Armchair Expert’ went onto spill the beans about her reason behind leaving Bollywood. While she went onto spill the beans about many a thing in the podcast, what also happened during the same podcast was that Priyanka Chopra Jonas landed herself into a sticky situation after she referred to the Telugu film 'RRR' starring NTR Jr and Ram Charan as a ‘Tamil’ film. In no time, she was trolled by many for making such a ‘silly mistake’. In a recent interview with Mid Day, Priyanka Chopra Jonas said, “People try to find a mistake in anything I do. I think people enjoy that a little bit. I was a lot more free-spirited, but now, I am a bit more cautious because I have my family to think about. The higher you go in life; the more people look for a reason for you to fall. But at the same time, I have so much love and support from my family, friends and fans. I prefer to focus on that.”
In the same interview, she said that a lot of things that she does were deliberate and that she doesn’t carry baggage, because then one cannot fly. She added that she wanted to be a bird and explore the incredible life. She also recalled her (late) father Dr. Ashok Chopra’s words which stated that he would never keep her in a cage and that she would fly as high as she wanted. Priyanka simply said that she wanted to make him proud. No wonder then, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has a tattoo on her hand that states, ‘Daddy's lil girl'.
As for ‘Citadel, beside s Priyanka Chopra Jonas, it also stars Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci. The much-awaited series will premiere on April 28 this year on Prime Video.
