After the initial set of yes-yes-no-no, ultimately, it can now be openly said that Ranveer Singh has become the chosen one to play the titular role in ‘Don 3’. Even though there were many speculations about who will be playing the title role, many felt that, it will be Shah Rukh Khan who will continue the legacy of the franchise that he had left behind with his previous cult film ‘Don 2’. A few days ago, Farhan Akhtar put all the rumors to rest by announcing on social media that it is indeed Ranveer Singh who will be playing the lead role in ‘Don 3’.

The news of Ranveer Singh playing the lead in Don 3 met with mixed reactions from all over. While a few felt that, Ranveer Singh will surely bring his own charisma and style to the said role, there were others who felt that Shah Rukh Khan just cannot be replaced by anyone in the role of ‘Don’. Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal, who had he memorable role of Jaspit Ahuja in the Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don’, has now reacted to the news of Ranveer Singh playing the titular role in the film ‘Don 3’. The actor spoke in an interview with Zoom.

Arjun Rampal said that he thought that it was good. Saying this, he even cited that it was like doing a film like ‘Bourne Ultimatum’, ‘Bourne Identity’ or a James Bond (film). He added that Don was that kind of franchise and that the mantle has been put onto Ranveer’s shoulders. He even added that Ranveer was a fantastic actor, and that he thinks that, he (Ranveer Singh) would give it his best shot. Saying this, Arjun Rampal wished Ranveer Singh all the best for ‘Don 3’.
