“There is no business like show business”, says Shah Rukh Khan after attending the grand launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC)

Everyone knows that, besides being the undisputed king of romance in Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan is also blessed with the ‘gift of the gab’. Words coming from his mouth are always a pleasure to listen. No wonder then, he has always been every interviewer’s delight. The same was the case with Anusha Dandekar when he was in terviewing Shah Rukh Khan to know his reaction after he attended the grand launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC).

In a video clip shared by the YouTube channel of CNBC-TV18, Anusha Dandekar had asked Shah Rukh Khan to describe his experience of having attended the grand launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre NMACC, Shah Rukh Khan, in his trademark style, said that the whole event was outstanding. He added that he had seen the show two times and that to have a first show and that too to this level of excellence was outstanding. He said that it was very important for his two children (both of them have been schooled at Dhirubai Ambani School) to re-see the whole cultural progression and the journey that they (the event) had captured. While describing the whole event having an essence which was important for the youth to see, Shah Rukh Khan also emphasized on the fact that the youth would understand our culture if they are shown the same it in an entertaining way. In the same breath, he added that, if you don’t have any entertaining stuff happening like it was at the said event, it would be difficult to teach them in books or just with Google.

When Anusha Dandekar asked Shah Rukh Khan about any one particular sequence or a moment that really struck him pat came the reply from Shah Rukh Khan by stating that, he felt that the beginning of the event with the Ganpati was outstanding. He also added that what he found really sweet was the event’s ending with the tricolor and the little kids’ rendition of ‘Jana Gana Mana’.

On being asked about that one word with which he would describe the event, the 'Dil Se' star Shah Rukh Khan said that, (to describe the event) in one word would be difficult. He elaborated that, he could say ‘spectacular’, ‘fantastic’ and ‘mesmerizing’ (in order to describe the grand event). He followed it up by saying that, after attending the grand event, he remembered what he always followed in his life. That’s why, he said, that he was going to go back, get inspired again and work harder. The icing on the cake was however, how he summed up his experience. Shah Rukh Khan, in his unmistakable trademark style, said that, “At the end of it all, if you see something like this, you remember that there is no business like show business”!
