Written by Pooja Tolani and Rahul Patel, The Verdict – State vs Nanavati was a courtroom drama starring an ensemble star cast. The series revolved around a real-life incident where an Indian Naval Command Officer, Kawas Nanavati was accused of the murder of Prem Ahuja. The web show was a gripping tale of jealousy, murder, and mystery.

Helmed by Shashant Shah, the web show premiered on ZEE5 and Altt. You can revisit the series with your OTTplay Premium subscription as well. For the uninitiated, Makrand Deshpande, Soni Razdan, Kubbra Sait, Swanand Kirkire, Pooja Gaur, and many others formed the supporting cast of this show.

During the time of The Verdict's release, Elli AvRam shared her experience of playing Sylvia Nanavati in the web series. The actress said she could relate to Sylvia because of her life journey. "Whatever happened, Sylvia followed her heart and stood by it. She pulled herself together and stood in that courtroom with grace and courage, answering all the questions asked of her, even if they were humiliating," AvRam told Cinema Express.

In this series, Manav essayed the character of Kawas Nanavati. On the other hand, Sumeet Vyas was seen as Ram Jethmalani. As for Makrand Deshpande, he played the role of Chandu Trivedi.
