Born on 7 June 1952, William John Neeson, professionally known as Liam Neeson, is an acclaimed actor from Northern Ireland who began his acting career by joining the Lyric Players' Theatre in Belfast in 1976.

He kick-started his career by acting in the Arthurian film Excalibur (1981). However, he achieved fame after starring as Oskar Schindler in Schindler's List (1993).

The Academy Award winner has many great films to his credit, including Les Misérables (1998) and Batman Begins (2005). Moreover, he provided his voice for Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia trilogy (2005–2010) and the supposed monster in A Monster Calls (2016).
