The Trial: Aamir Ali hesitated to do intimate scenes with Kubra Sait and the reason is his ex-wife Sanjeeda Sheikh

Kajol’s web series The Trial has a few scenes where Aamir Ali is supposed to get intimate with Kubra Sait. Although the scene is now out there to see and analyse, Aamir reveals he was actually hesitant to go ahead with that particular scene. This hesitation stemmed from the fact that he had divorced his longtime wife and fellow actor, Sanjeeda Shaikh, just a couple of years ago.

Aamir told Bollywood Bubble that he always considered work as work but was hesitant this time around. He did not reveal the scene but made it evident by stating, “When you watch the show, you'll understand which scene I'm referring to. It doesn't happen twice; it happens once.”

Now that the actor is single, he feels more carefree. He would wish to focus on the positives the relationship brought to him than sulk over what’s gone. “Leave the negativity behind because dwelling in negativity only leads to sulking, both for yourself and those around you. That's not a healthy approach,” he shared.

Aamir said that he felt disconnected and lost for almost a year. It was the same time when COVID-19 began.

Aamir and Sanjeeda were one of the most loved TV couples. They even won Nach Baliye 3 in 2007. The couple then went on to host the subsequent season of the dance reality show. They began dating after their appearance on the show, got married in 2012 and unfortunately, went through a divorce in 2021.

Recently, Aamir was also seen in Hansal Mehta's thriller Faraaz. Sanjeeda, on the other hand, is set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming Netflix period series, Heeramandi.
