The Sabarmati Report OTT release date: Stream Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra's film on THIS platform

Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra's film, The Sabarmati Report, was released in theatres this year. After a few months of delay, the Dheeraj Sarna directorial hit the big screen on November 15, 2024. The movie was based on the 2002 Sabarmati Express train burning incident. PM Narendra Modi appreciated The Sabarmati Report upon its theatrical release. And now, the movie is set to have its digital premiere. It will soon drop on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.

The Sabarmati Report OTT release date

Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan, The Sabarmati Report will stream on ZEE5 in 2025. Starring Vikrant, Raashii, and Ridhi, the movie will drop on the streaming platform on January 10, 2025. Once it premieres, you will be able to watch it with your OTTplay Premium subscription.

In The Sabarmati Report, Vikrant essayed the role of a journalist Samar Kumar whereas Ridhi Dogra was seen as Manika Rajpurohit. On the other hand, Raashi played the character of Amrita Gill. The film's star cast also included Barkha Singh, Sudip Ved, Digvijay Purohit, and others.

Ridhi Dogra on delay in The Sabarmati Report's release

After The Sabarmati Report's theatrical release, Ridhi Dogra reflected on the delay in the movie's big screen release. When asked if the multiple delays affected the team's spirit, Ridhi told OTTplay, "I don't think so! We did our work and it only gave us time to make our film a little better. Edit pe thodi zyada samay rahi (it remained on the edit for a while) and we could make it crisper. We took it in our stride."

"I don't get perturbed by delays. I am used to it. Asur (her web series), too, got released much later after we shot it. I am used to projects getting delayed. (It is okay) as long as the producers, who put in money, they should not lose money," she added.

For the uninitiated, The Sabarmati Report was initially set to release on May 3, 2024. Later, it got pushed to August 2024 and eventually released in November.
