At the trailer launch event of The Roshans, Hrithik Roshan opened up about working with superstar Rajinikanth as a child artist in Bhagwaan Dada.

Netflix released the trailer of the much-anticipated docu-series, The Roshans, today, January 9. The series is to explore the lives and legacy of the Roshan family, one of Bollywood's most iconic families. The trailer launch event was attended by Hrithik Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, and others. At the event, Hrithik recalled fond memories of working with the superstar Rajinikanth in Bhagwaan Dada as a child artist.
For the unversed, Hrithik Roshan has starred with Tamil superstar Rajinikanth as a child artist in Bhagwaan Dada. The film was released in 1986 and featured Rajinikanth, Sridevi, and Rakesh Roshan in the lead.
At the trailer launch event of The Roshans, Hrithik was shown a picture of him with the superstar from the movie sets. Recalling the shooting days, Hrithik said, "I used to talk to him like 'yes uncle, no, yes.' I had my way with him."
Expressing his desire to work with Rajinikanth again, the actor said, "Today If I get a chance to work with him, I will be very different. I will realize the burden and the weight of the moment that I am sharing the screen space with him my god. He was so gentle. Whenever I messed up a shot, Rajini Sir used to take the blame, 'sorry sorry it was my fault.' Every single time I made a mistake, Rajinikanth Sir took the blame so that I, the child would not get conscious."
The docu-series will focus on the contributions of the late Roshan Lal Nagrath, also known as Roshan Saab, and his descendants, including filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, composer Rajesh Roshan, and actor Hrithik Roshan. It will delve into the family's journey with their life struggles and their passion, dedication, and contribution to Hindi cinema.
The series will also feature insights from Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sham Kaushal, and others.
Directed by Shashi Ranjan and produced with Rakesh Roshan, The Roshans will land on Netflix on January 17.
