Trisha, who won the hearts of audiences with her performance in the Ponniyin Selvan franchise, went on to headline Raangi, an action drama last year. This year, she came up with The Road, which was released in theatres a month ago. Arun Vaseegaran helmed the thriller flick which opened to mixed reviews.
Its story revolves around a young daring woman who gets suspicious about a series of accidents that happen at a specific place. She sets out to know the truth behind the same, but little did she know that it involved a huge challenge.
When and where to watch The Road online
The film will drop on aha Tamil on November 10. The OTT platform announced the same now, leaving fans of Trisha elated. It was announced earlier that aha acquired the project's digital release. She had three outings this year, and The Road was her second release.
Shabeer, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna and Vela Ramamoorthy among others played important roles in the film which had cinematography by KG Venkatesh and music by Sam CS. AR Shivaraj and Phoenix Prabhu handled editing and action choreography respectively.
Multiple releases for Trisha in 2023
The actress, who was last seen in Leo, joined Ajith's Vidaa Muyarchi recently. She is pairing up with Ajith after almost a decade. She has two Malayalam movies in her kitty, Ram and Identity. Her debut series Brinda in Telugu is also gearing up for release.
Meanwhile, her long-delayed project Sathuranga Vettai which has her sharing screen space with Arvind Swami is yet to see the light of the day. She is likely to have at least two releases in 2023.
