Trisha's recent outing The Road is all set to drop on Aha Tamil on November 10. With just two days to go for the OTT premiere, here's a look at some of Trisha's films where she played the leading lady.

Abhiyum Naanum
Director Radha Mohan's Abhiyum Naanum revolves around the relationship between a father and his daughter through the years. While Prakash Raj played Trisha's father, Aishwaryaa played the mother. The story is narrated through the eyes of the father as he recounts the experience to another father, who comes to a park with his toddler daughter. The film was billed as a beautiful relationship drama and was much talked about.

Nayaki

This bilingual Telugu-Tamil comedy horror flick had Trisha playing a ghost. Abhiyum Naanum pair Trisha and Ganesh Venkatraman make a comeback in Nayaki, directed by Goverdhan Reddy. The plot revolves around the spirit named Gayathri, who prevents people from entering her village for over 35 years. Trisha made her singing debut in the film with the song Bhayam.

Mohini

This supernatural horror film had Trisha sharing screen space with Jackky Bhagnani. Trisha played dual roles, as Mohini, a YouTuber and chef, who is possessed by the spirit of Vaishnavi, her doppleganger. The film was directed by Ramana Madhesh, but it opened to negative reviews at the box office.

Paramapadham Vilayattu


The political thriller marked Trisha's 60th project and was directed by Thirugnanam. The plot revolves around the mysterious passing away of the state Chief Minister and the doctor Gayathri (Trisha) who treated him for foul play. But when she gathers evidence, she gets abducted along with her daughter. The film is streaming on Disney + Hotstar.

Raangi


Trisha played a fearless online journalist Thaiyal Nayagi in this film directed by M Saravanan, who calls the spade a spade. A predicament in her 16-year-old niece's life makes Thaiyal Nayagi masquerade as the teen, who in turn, develops a strange bond with a terrorist in Tunisia. Will she be able to save her neice? The film is now streaming on Netflix.
