The Raja Saab: Prabhas, Maruthi Dasari to make a big reveal on THIS date

Prabhas is teaming up with filmmaker Maruthi Dasari for the first time in his career, for the upcoming film The Raja Saab. The Telugu superstar is reportedly set to play a double role in the highly anticipated project, which is touted to be a fantasy-horror comedy. Recently, The Raja Saab team took to their official social media handles and confirmed that a big reveal on the film is set to be out on October 23, 2024, on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday.

The Raja Saab: Prabhas, Maruthi drop an update

Recently, the cast and crew members of The Raja Saab took to their official social media handles and dropped a major update on the film. “A journey we built. A Darling Rebel character we shaped :) HE IS ARRIVING on 23rd oct,” reads the X (formerly Twitter) post of director Maruthi Dasari. Along with the announcement, the team members also shared a brand-new poster of the film, featuring leading man Prabhas.

The Telugu superstar is seen sporting a stylish avatar in the new poster, in a checkered shirt, which he paired up with a beige t-shirt and black trousers, in the new poster. Prabhas completed his look with a pair of statement sunglasses and dark grey shoes. Now, the sources close to the project suggest that the makers might reveal the celebrated actor’s second look from the film will be released on his birthday, with a special teaser.

The Raja Saab: Here’s what we know

As reported earlier, Prabhas is all set to play a father and son in the film. Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Aggerwal, and Riddhi Kumar play the female leads. Sanjay Dutt appears as the lead antagonist, while Tamil actor Yogi Babu plays a pivotal role in the film. S Thaman composes the songs and the original score. Karthik Palani and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handle the cinematography and editing, respectively. The Raja Saab is bankrolled by TG Viswaprasad and Vivek Kuchibotta, under the banner People Media Factory.
