The Office and Seinfeld can be streamed on Netflix India from October

Dundi awards will now soon be hosted on Netflix India. All the seasons of popular comedy-drama series The Office and also Seinfeld will now be available to stream on Netflix India. However, Seinfeld will be making an early entry onto the platform. The series will be out on October 1 while The Office will start streaming from October 23. 

Netflix has reportedly signed a five-year deal for Seinfeld with the rights holder Sony Pictures Television in 2019. Hence, the show will no longer be available on the streaming platform SonyLIV after September. Coming to The Office, it is not confirmed yet if the rights have been exclusively acquired by Netflix or if it will continue streaming on multiple platforms. The Office is currently available (at the time of writing this article) on Amazon Prime. The rights to The Office (US) are owned by NBCUniversal Television.

Netflix is presently streaming Steve Carell and John Krasinski starrer mockumentary in seven countries - the UK, Australia, Japan, Iceland, Canada, South Africa, and Sweden. But in India, The Office has been streaming on Prime Video ever since the platform was launched in the country.
