The Nun II OTT release date in India has been announced! The Demon Nun returns on JioCinema on THIS date

Do you want to know how all subscribers can watch The Nun 2 on OTT? On February 7, 2024, JioCinema will finally release the 2023 horror sequel to the megahit film. Directly following 2018's The Nun, this gothic supernatural horror film serves as the eighth instalment in the Conjuring Universe series. Akela Cooper, Richard Naing, and Ian Goldberg wrote the screenplay, while Michael Chaves directed the film.

Sister Irene confronts Valak

In the film, Sister Irene confronts the demonic entity Valak—the Demon Nun—again in this sequel to the global blockbuster The Nun. Set four years subsequent to the events of The Nun, this is the sequel. A convent in Italy is now Sister Irene's home. Following a vision in which Maurice begs her for her help, she finds out that the demon Valak is apparently responsible for multiple killings that have taken place across Europe. As the Cardinal instructed, she works with a novice named Sister Debra to discover the truth.

Star-studded ensemble cast

In the film, Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), young Irene (Margot Bernazzi), Maurice (Jonas Bloquet), Sister Debra (Storm Reid), and Kate (Anna Popplewell) are all part of the ensemble. The cast also includes Bonnie Aarons (The Demon Nun), Katelyn Rose Downey (Sophie), Suzanne Bertish (Madame Laurent), Léontine d'Oncieu (Simone), Anouk Darwin Homewood (Celeste), Maxime Elias-Menet (Jacques), Pascal Aubert (Father Noiret), David Horovitch (Cardinal Conroy), Kate Colebrook (Irene's Mom/Saint Lucy), and many more. Several demonic entities have had their voices given to them by Andrew Morgado.

On September 8, 2023, Warner Bros. Pictures released The Nun II in the US. Despite critics' conflicting reactions—some saw it as an upgrade over the previous film—the picture was a financial success, earning $269 million worldwide on a budget of $38.5 million.
