The Morning Show Season 3 is almost here, and it has been a long time coming. Release information and first-look photos for the Apple TV+ drama series, which also stars Nicole Beharie and John Hamm, among others, were just made public. Nearly two years have passed since the conclusion of Season 2, but on Wednesday, September 13, the first two episodes of Season 3 of The Morning Show will finally be released.

While the new photos don't reveal much about the upcoming season, they do feature both new and returning characters in ways that will make viewers wonder who they can trust. Two photos show Jennifer Anniston and Reese Witherspoon, who play Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson on The Morning Show, getting ready for the day behind the scenes. Another picture shows Witherspoon and Billy Crudup's Cory Ellison; near the close of Season 2, Cory told Bradley that he loved her, even though Bradley was seeing Laura Peterson (Julianna Margulies).

Margulies joins Greta Lee, Karen Pittman, and Mark Duplass, all of whom are returning cast members, in the new photos. Nestor Carbonell is confirmed to reprise his role as meteorologist Yanko Flores for Season 3, despite being conspicuously absent from the newly released photos. Stephen Fry, Natalie Morales, and Tig Notaro will all make guest appearances in Season 3.

Season 2 ended with the protagonists still struggling with the early days of the COVID-19 epidemic, but Season 3 looks like it might flash forward a bit to return to less virus-based drama, opting instead to amp up the behind-the-scenes backstabbing at UBA.

If you believe the official synopsis, the future of the network is thrown into question, and loyalties are pushed to the brink when a tech titan takes an interest in UBA. They wouldn't mind if The Morning Show borrowed certain ideas from Succession for its upcoming third season. The synopsis continued to hint at "unexpected alliances" and the possibility that Cory may use what he knows about Bradley and Laura's relationship to his advantage, saying that private truths are weaponized and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom.

Season 3 of The Morning Show will premiere on Apple TV+ on September 13, and the streaming service has already ordered a fourth season of the show.
