The Magic of Shiri trailer: Divyanka Tripathi and Jaaved Jafferi starrer chronicles a woman's exceptional journey

Jio Cinema has announced a one-of-a-kind new drama series titled The Magic of Shiri. It stars Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Jaaved Jafferi in pivotal roles. Makers have dropped the official trailer of the show that sees an ordinary woman's exceptional journey of becoming a magician.

Set in the bustling neighbourhood of mid-90s Delhi, this heartwarming tale revolves around Shiri Shah. Her life takes an unexpected turn when her husband abruptly decides to become a Jain monk, leaving her to face the daunting task of single-handedly providing for her children. She embarks on a journey to reignite her old passion for magic and strives to become a renowned performer. 

Makers dropped the official trailer on YouTube with a special caption that reads, "Meherbaan, Kadardaan, Sahibaan, aa rahi hai Shiri dikhane asal zindagi ka jaadu! TRAILER OUT NOW. Here is the amazing tale of Shiri, a homemaker, who gets the chance to realize her dream when fate throws her life into upheaval. The inspiring narrative is set in the chaotic & vibrant Paharganj neighborhood of mid-90s Delhi. (sic)."

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, in expressing her excitement about the show, said in a statement, "Playing Shiri has been an immensely rewarding experience. Presented by Jio Studios and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Tanveer Bookwala, the Birsa Dasgupta directorial also has Namit Das, Parmeet Sethi, Darshan Zareewala, and Neelu Kohli in supporting roles.

The Magic of Shiri, the highly anticipated web series, is set to arrive at Jio Cinema on July 13.
