The Magic Of Shiri: Meet Divyanka Tripathi and her exciting journey against all odds in the new promo

After a year-long wait, Divyanka Tripathi and Jaaved Jaaferi's series, The Magic of Shiri is finally releasing on November 14. For the uninitiated, the show, starring Divyanka Tripathi and Jaaved Jafferi was delayed after the reports of the Jain community raising objections surfaced. Now, after one year, the series is finally landing on the OTT platform, JioCinema (OTTPlay Premium) in November. To keep the buzz around the show at an all-time high, the makers have now unveiled a new exciting promo for the show. 

The Magic Of Shiri New Promo Featuring Divyanka Tripathi

The new promo of The Magic Of Shiri, which was released by the makers today, on November 13, gives us an insight into the life of Shiri, played by Divyanka Tripathi. The video shows how Shiri sacrifices her passion for magic when her husband asks her to and takes care of her family. However, her life takes a turn when another magician, played by Jaaved Jaaferi, helps her practice magic again. Going by the promo, we can surely say that the series promises to bring a lot of fun and magic.

Sharing the promo on their social media account, the makers captioned it: "Zindagi mein jaadu aur chehre par smile laane aa gayi hai Shiri. Witness Shiri’s magical journey against all odds."

Recently, in an exclusive conversation with OTTplay, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya revealed she was criticized by people for fulfilling her dream in real life too. She said, "Similarly, for me, I had no film or television background. So, just to think that I could come and shift base to Mumbai, was a difficult decision for my family as well. There were a lot of people around to criticize. Jo keh rahe the ki aap bohot galat decision le rahe ho bachhi ko aise shehar bhej kar."

Directed by Birsa Dasgupta, the cast of the series also stars Namit Das, Parmeet Sethi, Pitabhash Tripathi, Neelu Kohli, Darshan Zareewala, and others in pivotal roles. The series is backed by Jio Studios and Tanveer Bookwala.
