The Kerala Story experienced positive development on Saturday as box office receipts surpassed the 10 crore threshold. The precise total is 11.22 crores, which is amazing considering that no other independent film has ever easily collected double digits on the second day as The Kerala Story has.

Given that they share a similar concept, execution, scale, and size, the collections of these two films will actually make up a portion of the story in the future. The Kerala Story would easily beat the opening weekend gross of 27.15 crores earned by the ensemble film directed by Vivek Agnihotri by this afternoon.

The movie has a current budget of 19.25 crores, and with some help, it may be able to surpass 35 crores overall.

The Adah Sharma-starring film has experienced a fairly widespread distribution, which means there are many shows accessible for it. As a result, there aren't always packed houses for shows. Because it began on a small number of screens and quickly became houseful, The Kashmir Files had in that sense become a movement. As time went on, the number of its screens and shows grew and they too began to become houseful. However, The Kerala Story is significant from the start and will continue to be so during the first week.

The Kerala Story, starring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani, was formally characterised earlier as the tale of more than 32,000 Kerala women who were supposedly radicalised by Islamic fundamentalists. However, once online protests against the false information the movie was disseminating started, the number was reduced from 32,000 to three.
