Fans of the comedian Kapil Sharma will not be excited about this. The Kapil Sharma Show is going off the air for a while as the team of the comedian’s talk show will be heading to the United States for a tour next month.
According to the Indian Express, the show will be replaced by the comedy show, India's Laughter Champion. This show will also mark Shekhar Suman's return to the screens, and he will be reunited with his former judge partner, Archana Puran Singh. Both of them have previously been on comedy TV shows such as Comedy Circus and the Great Indian Laughter Challenge, which have given the country many fantastic comedians.
The channel Sony TV did not want to lose their faithful viewers, therefore they had the choice of re-airing past episodes of Kapil Sharma's show or having a new show. And as per the portal, they wanted to keep the audience entertained with new content. Since there was no stand-up comedy show just at the time, they decided to begin one. Although Archana was their first pick for a judge, they believed bringing in Shekhar Suman would make people reminisce and tune in.
Shekhar Suman, who recently joined the micro-blogging platform, Instagram, shared a video where he is seen getting ready in his vanity van for the shoot. He shared it with the caption, "Lights, Sound, Camera, and Loads of Action...Wait for it."

The two judges have filmed the teaser, and the show will premiere later this month. Sony TV has also identified entries for comedians and claims to have found some extremely talented artists. The show will also beavailable to stream on SonyLiv.
