According to Kiara Advani, it was director Rajkumar Hirani's movie 3 Idiots that persuaded her parents to allow her to work in movies. Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Renuka Sahane, Viraj Ghelani, and the director Shashank Khaitan will all be present for the Govinda Naam Mera special edition of The Kapil Sharma Show, where she will discuss how she entered the entertainment industry.
Kiara said that it is completely normal for parents to be concerned for their kids who wish to try their luck in the movie business. They were terrified for her and concerned for her safety because they weren't in the industry.
Kiara further revealed that her parents encouraged her to explore options besides this line of work. But they were aware of her long-standing desire to pursue a career in acting. The actor went with her father to see 3 Idiots when she was in school because, as one may know, movies are not only a form of entertainment; the messages they convey have the power to change people's lives.
Kiara added that 3 Idiots had a magical effect on her father, convincing him to support her on her adventure. The actor wants Raju Sir (Rajkumar Hirani) to know how grateful she is for making such a great movie.
This year, Kiara was in three movies. She was with Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Varun Dhawan in Jugjugg Jeeyo, and Vicky Kaushal in Govinda Naam Mera.
She has an interesting line-up in 2023 with S. Shankar's Telugu directorial debut, RC 15, opposite Ram Charan. The actor has been shooting for the film for a very long time now and recently headed to New Zealand for a song shoot. She will also be reuniting with Kartik in Sameer Vidwans' Satyaprem Ki Katha. The film is hitting the big screens on June 29, 2023.
