Archana Puran Singh has revealed that she had to turn down various film offers, including one from Vashu Bhagnani, while she was shooting for The Kapil Sharma Show. This was back when she joined the show while it was airing on TV. The actress managed to finally work in a movie and will be seen in Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri's Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, apart from her stint in the Netflix series. Archana Puran Singh had to reject various film offers

While she was working on The Kapil Sharma Show, Archana Puran Singh had to turn down various film offers. The actress shared with News18 that the demanding schedule of The Kapil Sharma Show back when it was airing on TV did not allow her to take up any project outside of Mumbai. "I'd often get calls asking me to come go Scotland for a 20-day schedule. But I'd reply I can only commit if you're shooting in Mumbai," she said, adding that some shoots would take place in Mauritius or Australia, but she had to shoot The Kapil Sharma Show two-three times a week since the show was out almost every day on TV. Owing to that, she had to decline offers even in Mumbai at times. Now that The Kapil Sharma Show is on Netflix, things have changed for the better. Now, the series streams once a week. This gives the cast and crew more time to take up other offers coming their way.

Vashu Bhagnani had also approached her

In the very interview, Archana mentioned receiving a film offer from Vashu Bhagnani when she was in England. He tried to convince her by stating that she wouldn't need a visa and had to shoot for 20 days there. However, she had to decline the offer by stating that she had to catch a flight the next day and shoot for The Kapil Sharma Show right after.

The producer is currently making headlines for unpaid dues. While he has been accused of delayed payment and non-payment, Bhagnani more recently accused Netflix of not paying the dues.

New chapter for Archana Puran Singh

Archana has no regrets despite turning down the numerous film offers. She thoroughly enjoyed the journey and is loving the new chapter as much.

Archana will be seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, scheduled to release on October 11. Her show The Kapil Sharma Show, where she replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu as the judge, is out every Saturday. This week, Jr. NTR will be on the show to promote Devara.
