Now, he is ready with his new film, NKR21, which is nearing completion soon. The latest update in film circles is that Kalyan Ram is planning to name his film Merupu. There is a special story behind this title, as it was registered for a Ram Charan film some time ago. But as the film stalled, not much attention was paid to the title.
Now, the makers of Kalyan Ram's film have confirmed the title and will announce it in the days to come. The action drama is directed by Pradeep Chilukuri and has superstar Vijayasanthi in a key role. She will be seen as a cop and her promo from the film was revealed a few days ago.
Kalyan Ram needs to make a strong comeback with this film, as he is going through a bad phase. Sai Manjrekar is playing the female lead in this film, which has music by Ajaneesh Loknath. Muppa Venkaiah Chowdary, Ashok Vardhan Muppa, and Sunil Balusu are the producers of this biggie.
On the other hand, Kalyan Ram is also overseeing the production formalities of his latest film, Devara, which has his brother, NTR, as the main lead. Koratala Siva is the director and Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead. The action drama is in the last leg of its shoot. Kalyan Ram has pumped a lot of money into this film.
