The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is the upcoming dystopian sci-fi action drama that marks the prequel to the 2012 film of the same title starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. The makers have dropped the official trailer of the forthcoming flick that features Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler and Viola Davis in pivotal roles.

The latest official trailer begins showcasing multiple groups of people belonging to different statuses. Davis appears as a ruthless leader of the most fortunate class of people in a unique academy. However, a few rebels seem to challenge the unethical and ruthless rules and regulations for the misfortunate ones around them.

The cast of the upcoming movie

Apart from Blyth, Zegler and Davis, the upcoming futuristic drama also stars the Game Of Thrones fame Peter Dinklage and Euphoria actor Hunter Schafer in significant roles along with Josh Andrés Rivera, Jason Schwartzman, Fionnula Flanagan, Burn Gorman, Ashley Liao, Max Raphael, Zoe Renée, Nick Benson, Isobel Jesper Jones, and George Somner as key characters.

Based on a famous novel named The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins, the action-thriller movie is written for the screen by Michael Lesslie and Michael Arndt. Bankrolled by Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson and Francis Lawrence under Color Force, Good Universe in association with Lionsgate, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is slated to release in cinema on November 17, 2023, all over the world. Meanwhile, the dystopian drama is anticipated to be out on Lionsgate Play to stream online post its theatrical run, however, the official statement is yet to be out.
