The Greatest Of All Time: Thalapathy Vijay’s film postponed? Producer reacts to rumours

The Greatest Of All Time aka The GOAT, the sci-fi action thriller film marks the first onscreen collaboration Thalapathy Vijay and filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. The highly anticipated project, which features Vijay in a double role, has been slated to hit the big screens on September 5, 2024. Meanwhile, recently it was rumorued that the big budget venture might get pushed to 2025, due to technical reasons. However, Archana Kalpathi,  the producer of The GOAT has now reacted to the rumours, on social media.

Thalapathy Vijay’s The GOAT is not postponed, confirms producer

Recently, Archana Kalpathi, one of the producers of The Greatest Of All Time, recently reacted to one of the social media posts which suggests that the Vijay starrer might get postponed to next year. Reacting to the post of Forum Keralam which suggests that one of the biggest releases of the year has been delayed, the producer wrote: “Not true. We are very much on track and working 24/7 to make a kickass film. Please don’t spread negativity or false news.”

Later, Archana Kalpathi, who realised that The GOAT was not mentioned in the post, further added: “Sorry just realized you had not tagged The GOAT. We are on time guys... Sep 5th worldwide”. The producer’s social media post has put the rumours about the delay in Thalapathy Vijay and Venkat Prabhu’s film, to rest. The actor-politicians fans are now eagerly waiting to witness the long-awaited film on the silver screen in its all glory.

Archana Kalpathi drops The GOAT update

Earlier, it was reported that The Greatest Of All Time team is all set to drop a major update on the film on August 1, 2024. Archana Kalpathi, who interacted with the internet users recently, confirmed that the reports are indeed true. “From August 1st,” replied the producer, when a film fanatic asked her when they can expect the next update on the Vijay starrer. If the reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to drop The GOAT third single, which is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, very soon. According to the grapevine, the upcoming third single is expected to feature Thalapathy Vijay, along with Meenakshi Chaudhary, who plays one of the female leads in the film.
