After Aamir Khan, the next guests on The Great Indian Kapil Show are the Deol Brothers - Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The trailer of the show has been released and we can surely say that with lots of ROFL moments, this episode will also be an emotional rollercoaster ride as Sunny will be seen speaking about the difficult times that the Deol family went through before making a dashing comeback in the acting world.
Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol break down in tears
As the trailer opens, Sunny Deol can be seen talking about their journey in Bollywood. He reveals that being in the industry since 1960, we were unable to make a comeback even after trying for so long. He further says, "Then my son got married, after that Gadar 2 was released, before that my dad’s film (Dharmendra's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani) came, and we couldn’t believe how we got so blessed. After that Animal (Starring Bobby Deol) was released… fatte he chakde (it nailed it).”
While Sunny spoke about these hard times, Bobby broke down in tears as he was unable to control his emotions as they spoke about their struggling times.
At the end of the trailer, Bobby Deolis seen saying that Deols are quite romantic. ‘Hamara dil bharta nahi hai (We are never satisfied),’ he said.
The entire episode looks full of laughter and emotions. While all the other comedians of the show are all set to bring the iconic characters of Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol to take us on a laughter journey, it seems that this episode is going to be a hit amongst the viewers.
Deol's era is back
2023 was Deols year in terms of comebacks on the big screens. It started with Sunny Deol's blockbuster film, Gadar 2. The film broke multiple records, and became a super hit and was the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023. Then came Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Khaani, and Dharmendra's character from the film was appreciated by the critics as well as audiences. The last but not the least was Bobby Deol as Abrar in Animal. The comeback that he deserved on the big screens. The Deols, in multiple interviews, have revealed how much the love means to them and how grateful they are for this.
