With The Flash in production, there has been a lot of talk among fans about who are the stars that would make their way into the movie. One of the names mentioned in length is George Clooney.

Ben Affleck, who will appear in the movie, was asked about Clooney’s inclusion in the movie in a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "He definitely would blow it. Which is why I can tell you now, I don't believe he is [in the movie]. If he is, he hasn't told me, so maybe he thinks I'd blow it. It's possible. He may be very guarded.”

Affleck added that as far as he knows, the Ocean's Eleven star did not want to return to the role and that he does not believe he is in The Flash. The actor also said that he never even saw Keaton, who is also in the movie, while filming.

It was announced in August 2020 that Affleck, who is the DCEU’s Batman, would return in The Flash. Michael Keaton, who is a fan-favourite version of The Caped Crusader from Tim Burton's 1989 Batman and its sequel, Batman Returns was also confirmed to return in the movie.

George Clooney who had a short stint as Batman alongside Chris O'Donnell in 1997's Batman & Robin, is considered as one of the worst versions of the superhero.

The studio has been successful in keeping plot details a secret about the movie, but based on Affleck’s comments, the two actors may not even be sharing screen space in the multiversal story of The Flash.
