It’s raining Marvel right now, and we're not supposed to complain because, after a very dry spell, we're looking at a future with projects that are on par with the glory that the Marvel Cinematic Universe was witnessing till the end of the Infinity Saga. We weren't even ready to move on from the sweet shock that Deadpool & Wolverine, aka Deadpool 3, first look teaser gave us, but tur ns out the studio decided to give us another one in less than a week, and they have now announced the confirmed cast with a fresh logo for The Fantastic Four. And yes, Internet’s favorite daddy is now Marvel’s daddy too—Pedro Pascal has arrived.

The Fantastic Four Cast Announced

Fantastic Four, now titled The Fantastic Four, is one of the most anticipated movies to be coming out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe mill in the coming years. Set for a 2025 release, the buzz around the movie has been so high that the casting rumors have been evident and making loud thunder for almost a year now. Turns out Marvel Studios has found the first Marvel family for their reboot in Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn, and this time no one's speculating it but the studio confirming it with a new poster.

But Who Plays Who?

After names like Adam Driver, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Gosling, and more, the ball to play Reed Richards was in Internet’s daddy Pedro Pascal’s court, who has accepted the part and is now our smart guy, who will be the head of the family. After Magot Robbie, and almost all possible candidates one can name, Vanessa Kirby has finally bagged the part of Sue Storm and will play the Marvel Matriarch in the movie alongside Pascal.

Two of the most tricky castings because one of those parts was played by Chris Evans in the Fox timeline, who, if you are unaware by the slightest of chances, is Captain America, aka Steve Rogers, in the MCU. Ebon Moss-Bachrach is finally playing The Thing after what felt like a decade of rumors, and Joseph Quinn is here to play Human Torch, aka Johnny Storm.

When Does The Fantastic Four Release?

Earlier set for May 2, 2025, The Fantastic Four has been pushed to July 25, 2025, which means it will release exactly a year away from Deadpool 3. The May 2, 2025 date is now allotted to Thunderbolts as per the new calendar. Technically, these two are the two big releases among four in 2025. The other two in the year are Captain America: Brave New World and Mahershala Ali’s long-awaited movie Blade.

Matt Shakman is hired to shape The Fantastic Four, which will not be another origin story if Kevin Feige is to be believed. There are no details about the plot of the movie as of yet, but considering the time the studio has invested in shaping this one and finally announcing the main cast of the movie, they are indeed shaping something massive.
