The Family Plan Trailer Out: Mark Wahlberg is trying to be a good dad, but his past is coming back to haunt him

If you are not able to balance your work and your family at the same time, Mark Wahlberg is here to give you some tips. His latest thriller The Family Plan is a story about a former top assassin, who's living incognito as a suburban dad, must take his unsuspecting family on the run when his past catches up to him.

What does the trailer show?

Mark is playing as Dan Morgan, who has a wife and 3 children. He is living as a car salesman. Now his past has come to tickle his present and becomes a threat to his regular life, when he goes on a road trip with his whole family. Problem starts when a group of goons chase them on bikes. Now it's time for Dan to show his skills and save his little family from those goons.

It is really a treat to the eyes to watch Wahlberg coming back to action. He was last seen in Infinite in 2021. The story was a pure blend of action with sci-fi, where a common man named Evan can remember things from the past and holds the key to the location of a device that can destroy the world. As a result, he is chased by groups that have their own agenda for the device.

The star cast

Nevertheless, apart from Mark Wahlberg, The Family Plan also stars Michelle Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q and Ciarán Hinds.

The Family Plan will be released on Apple TV+ on December 15, 2023.
