The Family Man Season 3 update - Manoj Bajpayee's espionage thriller heads to the North-East; here's when the shoot kicks off

It's been three years since The Family Man ended on a cliffhanger hinting at a new and deadly mission for Srikant Tiwari. Manoj Bajpayee will make a comeback in the beloved world of the masses, setting a new standard in the espionage thriller genre. According to the latest reports, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's popular web series will now start production in April instead of February, as originally planned. Based on the timeline, the actor has reportedly set aside six months, starting in April, to film the entire series.

Production schedule update

Mid Day reported that Manoj, the protagonist Srikant Tiwari, now serves an assignment in the northeast, indicating the region's significant role in the Prime Video offering. Speaking of which, a source told the tabloid that the makers have conducted extensive north-east recce to identify the shoot locations. Additionally, Raj-DK will have shoot dates in Kolkata and Mumbai. Manoj plans to finish filming a major project by early summer, and then he'll start working on The Family Man.

Season two of the spy thriller starring Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, and Sharad Kelkar concluded with marital problems for Manoj's character. The actor has repeatedly stressed that the upcoming season will be more ambitious than its predecessors and that his character will encounter new difficulties as he ages and his children grow older.

Series overview

The gritty action-drama series The Family Man follows the life of a middle-class man who is a member of the NSA's special cell. In the midst of his efforts to save the country from terrorists, he must simultaneously shield his family from the effects of his clandestine, demanding, and underpaid job.

In the second season, we saw that Srikant Tiwari left TASC and is now working for a private company to spend more time with his family, but a powerful new foe called him back. To prevent a deadly alliance, Srikant must now find out who is collaborating with a long-lost enemy and a gang of overseas militants who have been inactive. However, the threat is somewhat more localised.

It seems like for the third season, fans have to wait another year or so!
