The Equalizer 3: Release date, OTT platform, trailer, cast, poster, plot and everything else you need to know

After the runaway success of ‘The Equalizer 1’ and ‘The Equalizer 2’, the makers are now back with the third and final instalment of the successful franchise, which stars the eternal superstar Denzel Washington.

Plot

With a tagline like ‘Justice knows no borders’, its only legit that we can expect what exactly the plot of ‘The Equalizer 3’ will be. As per the official synopsis, its being written that, Robert McCall (played by Denzel Washington) had to struggle in order to settle and comes to terms with the terrible things that he had done in the past, ever since he gave up his life as a government assassin. What happens when he finds surprisingly finds himself at home in Southern Italy and the repercussions that follows after that is what forms the crux of the film.

Makers
Just like the previous two instalments of ‘The Equalizer’, even the third part (‘The Equalizer 3’) has been directed by Antoine Fuqua, who has, to his credit of directing other noteworthy films like ‘Emancipation’, ‘Olympus Has Fallen’, ‘Tears Of The Sun’… to name a few.

Cast

Just like ‘The Equalizer 1’ and ‘The Equalizer 2’, ‘The Equalizer 3’ also stars the young-at-heart superstar Denzel Washington in the stellar role of Robert McCall. Besides him, there is Dakota Fanning as Emma Collins, Eugenio Mastrandrea as Gio Bonucci and David Denman as Frank Conroy, who play prominent roles.

Trailer

The makers of the series ‘The Equalizer 3’ had dropped the trailer much before the film’s release. The trailer sees Denzel Washington doing full justice to his portrayal of Robert McCall. Without giving out the essence of the film, the makers have ensured that the film’s trailer has been kept short and crisp which definitely raises the curiosity amongst the audiences to watch the film.

The film’s makers had released two visually stunning posters of the film ‘The Equalizer 3’. The poster features Denzel Washington sitting on a chair with both his hands locked onto each other. Besides this, there was yet another poster of the film that has Denzel Washington in the ‘background’ with the roman number III written! Truly, a well-thought of poster!

‘The Equalizer 3’ is being released today (September 1, 2023) all over in the theatres. As for the film’s streaming on the OTT platform, the makers are yet to announce the same.
