The actor-producer duo previously worked together in Crew and Veere Di Wedding. Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker wrote the film, which stars an ensemble cast including Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ektaa R. Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor are producers, with support from Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films.
Kareena has admitted in a number of recent interviews that she agreed to star in this film despite the fact that she was receiving unfavourable casting calls.
