This announcement will surely strike a chord with die-hard fans of the series, especially given that the teaser was unveiled last year in 2023, and the series is set to premiere on May 3, 2024.

What is so special about the series?

The trailer for the much-awaited second season of the adored newsroom drama The Broken News by ZEE5 was released on April 16. It pits Radha Bhargava (played by Shriya) from Awaz Bharti against Dipankar Sanyal (played by Jaideep) from Josh 24x7 as the fight between idealism and sensationalism reaches its peak. After Radha's incarceration at the hands of Dipankar, she resurfaces with a vengeance, determined to dismantle his brand of journalism once and for all. Vinay Waikul has directed Season 2.
