The premiere of The Archies is just 10 days away, and the makers are sparing no effort to immerse viewers in the film's music. After Sunoh, Va Va Voom, and In Raahon Mein, the new song from the film is out, and it's just getting better and better. The leading ladies showcase their roller skating prowess in the latest track, titled Dhishoom Dhishoom, an all-girl track.

Dhishoom Dhishoom: A roller skating extravaganza

The video features Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and Dot wearing retro-style outfits: a white shirt with red dots, black shorts with a white headband, and a red bowtie. The song is about these girls showing how they are superior and warning the boys, especially Archie (Agastya Nanda).

Dhishoom Dhishoom is sung by Dot, aka Aditi Saigal, and Kelly Dlima. Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics, with a composition by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

All about The Archies

The song features Agastya Nanda (Archie Andrews), Dot (Ethel Muggs), Khushi Kapoor (Betty Cooper), Mihir Ahuja (Jughead Jones), and Suhana Khan (Veronica Lodge). Meanwhile, Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley make up the rest of the lead cast.

The supporting cast includes Koel Purie, Tara Sharma, Vinay Pathak, Luke Kenny, and Alyy Khan.

Earlier, director Zoya Akhtar, while talking about The Archies, said in a statement that she was in extreme elation at the prospect of giving birth to this film. It was a significant part of her youth and teenage years. The characters are legendary and widely appreciated, which is also why she is a little scared. The filmmaker needs to ensure that the film is appealing to both older fans of the comic and today's youth.

In the film, Archie and the gang face off against developers who threaten to demolish a treasured park in India during the 1960s.

Netflix will premiere The Archies on December 7, 2023.
